Monthly Update - Kandee Boice

Well,  we have been open for almost 2 months and have been so excited with the way things have been running.  Our members are awesome and take care of the place like it's their own, which is exactly what we were hoping for.  It is so personal and friendly and a great place to go spend time with your family getting some exercise.  We are taking suggestions and trying to accomodate as much as possible and have been excited with the results.

We have been improving the recreation center over the past month and now have sound panels which have greatly improved the acoustics.  We have accomodated business meetings, birthday parties, company parties & dances.

Our biggest event was the Madison High School Commencment Dance - held last Saturday. They decorated inside and out and danced the night away, inside and out, in the parking lot!  They must have been all warm and cozy with excitement because it was cold!   It went off almost without a hitch and we learned a few things for the next big event, such as telling people where they are allowed to park!  I hear rave reviews that the kids had a great time, the decorations were awesome.  It was one of the largest attended dances in school history.  Yahoo!

Our next big event is this weekend for a wedding.  Things are looking great and the more the word gets out the more bookings we are getting!  We have had a few baseball teams and individuals in using the batting cages and hope to get the word out a little more on those.  Thanks to all who have supported us so far, this is great!
