Tanning Bed

We are so excited about offering tanning at the Ridge.  We are currently in the process of building a room for our new high tech bed with face tanners and fans.  When we get it up and going, hopefully in the next week or so, we will be offering a free month of tanning with a new membership.  Get fit and look great.  Get rid of those winter blues.  We will be scheduling tans by appointment only for now.

Racquetball Leagues

Racquetball leagues are starting this week, Thursday January 5th at 7:00.  We are excited to see you all there and ready to play.

We spent our weekend on a buying spree!  Yep, new equipment at the club and I can't wait to use it.  We have invested in some circuit equipment for our members (and me because I am super excited to use it to rehab my knee & shoulder).  Made by paramount, it is top of the line gym equipment.  Take some time and come check it out.  We also got a much requested stair stepper by Cybex.  Yeah!  Oh and maybe a tanning bed in the future?  We are growing to fit your needs.

Batting Cages are Up

 

We have been getting lots of calls as to when our batting cages will be up again for the season.  I think everyone got really excited watching the World Series!  Anyway, just a heads up.  We will be putting our cages up next week, as in Monday!  Yeah!  Our policy and pricing will be similar to last year concerning the cages.

Because many of you do a month to month membership it is very hard to track so we have made the following adjustments.

All memberships will be prorated to the 1st of each month, from the time you sign up.  This means that all month to month memberships will come due on the 1st day of each month.  It is up to you to make sure your payment is made by that time.  If it is not you will show up to find your code disabled (not fun for you or me).  You are more than welcome to pay in advance or to have it withdrawn directly from your account via ACH (this is easiest for me).

Fees are as follows for the batting cages:

Monthly $30 and $10 per month for each additional family member

    come as a guest with a member $5

3 month or more membership DEAL $25 per month (must do ACH or pay in full)

one time basis $8 (must schedule for time)

Team rates ($5 dollars per team member without a membership, must have at least 10 players to reserve the facility for 1 1/2 hours, and get this pricing)

Thursday nights will be open gym night again $5 per person

The Ridge Membership

A membership to The Ridge includes unlimited access to the batting cages while they are up (usually December to the end of June).

Individual membership $25

    one additional family member $10

Family Membership $45

The Ridge Memberships are done on an annual contract basis only.  They must be paid in full up front or withdrawn via ACH withdrawl from your account.

The Racquetball Madness Tournament was a great time had by all.  It was one of the the funnest tournaments I have been to just because of all of the local talent that participated.  One person commented that for such a small community we have GREAT racquetball talent, another wanted us to have the tournament monthly or quarterly.  We had 34 participants, all from the Idaho Falls and Rexburg area.  During the tournament we also had an exhibition of British Racquetball, a variation of racquetball played in other areas.  If you want to get a workout this is the game to play.  Gene Hayes, recently moved from Arizona, and brought it to our club where it has been a hit.  Thanks to everyone that participated and also to our sponsors. Tournament Starts today

Racquetball Madness starts this evening at 5:00 pm.  We had an overwhelming amount of participation this year with over 30 local racquetball players coming out of the woodwork.  There will be all levels of racquetball play from Novice to open (with the open players playing a variation of racquetball called British racquetball).  Play will go Thursday & Friday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm and all day Saturday.  Come and support your local players and enjoy the fun.  Even I will be playing in the novice division which should be lots of laughs.  Fun Times.

Racquetball Madness Tournament (March 10,11,12th)

We are excited to sponsor our 2nd Annual Racquetball Madness Tournament. This year we have decided to keep it on a more local level. There will be a small open round-robin type tournament, but it will focus on A,B,C and we have just added a Novice division, because of the interest. It will be held this weekend starting on Thursday the 10th. The entrance fee is $25, will all entrance fees going toward prize money for the top 3 places & consolation brackets. If you are interested in playing please let us know by Tuesday @ 7:00 pm.

BATTING CAGES
